Very caring, helpful staff. Very concerned about righting mistakes, which they did. Old Town Traverse City a short drive away. The Queen double room in the back was roomy and relaxing.
Location is on a big commercial strip, and although the hotel is not right on the main drag - it has a long driveway that secludes it - it doesn't take advantage of it's more private location, which would befit resort town travelers and justify the fairly high prices on summer weekends. No inviting outdoor space, very very small indoor pool.

The bed was very comfortable!
Our room was right above the main entrance to the hotel. Needless to say, it was very noisy every time someone came thru the doors. Plus, there was no view, except for the sign in front.

Parked in the handicapped area (to the right) and the walk to the front of the hotel was somewhat unsafe as the grade up to the sidewalk was unmarked and was a fall hazard.

The Beds were extremely comfy, check-in was easy, I asked for an early check-in and they were able to accommodate that. The breakfast was AMAZING!!!
The room smelled like someone just smoked in it which is frustrating for us non-smoking people. The other room we had also smelled weird...
